Kansas City, Mo. –- Despite not being able to obtain recycling containers, Kansas City still plans on implementing its recycling program beginning in March 2004. The city cannot find a company to sponsor the $250,000 price tag for containers. Because recycling is a new municipal program, the city had hoped to find a helping hand to offset its costs. However, city officials plan to stay on track, regardless.
