CRAFTY CRUSTACEAN: This crawfish, made of soda cans, fiberboard, wire, used playing cards, dice and poker chips, won the Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) High School Outreach Art Contest at WasteExpo 2003. Artist and 10th grader Justin Batiste of De La Salle High School, New Orleans, created the piece that EREF booth visitors voted for.
