Teamsters and Employers Reach Tentative Agreement in Strike

Chicago -- Employers have accepted a tentative agreement from Teamsters in the Chicago garbage strike involving 3,300 employees of private waste companies. According to news sources, the agreement is the fruit of 20 hours of bargaining with a federal mediator following an 8-day strike.
