Waste Connections Reports Second Quarter Earnings

Folsom, Calif. – Waste Connections Inc. has announced second quarter earnings of $ 0.55 per share, an increase of 12.2 percent over diluted earnings per share of $ 0.49 for the same quarter in 2002. Second quarter revenue was $138.9 million, an 8.4 percent increase over second quarter 2002 revenue of $128.1 million. Operating income increased 10.9 percent to $37 million.
