WKAR, a Lansing, Mich.-based National Public Radio member station owned by Michigan State University, recently held a Current State environmental segment on recycling in the State of Michigan. In this segment, Lauren Ross, a researcher at the Michigan State University Center for Community and Economic Development and George Berghorn, an assistant professor of Construction Management at Michigan State University, discuss the challenges and benefits of a stronger recycling effort.
