Portland’s GreenWay Recycling named C&D Recycler of the Year

Mixed construction, demolition sorting, and processing company, GreenWay Recycling, has been named C&D Recycler of the Year.
The award for GreenWay Recycling comes from the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) and will be given the award at CDRA’s annual conference, C&D World 2024, later this month. GreenWay has been operating in Northwest Portland for 20 years and recently invested $7 million to rebuild its dry-waste facility.
“We are honored to receive this award from our industry peers, but we want to share the recognition with Metro for supporting C&D operators in the area,” GreenWay Recycling founder and CEO Terrell Garrett stated. “Our success encourages innovation and challenges operators like us to explore ways to reuse materials in the waste stream, which is good for the environment and residents.”
