Clean Energy Discloses Waste Fleet Natural Gas Projects

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. continues to help expand natural gas conversion of waste and recycling vehicles, disclosing eight projects in the refuse arena.
The Seal Beach, Calif.-based company issued “The Road to Natural Gas,” a listing of waste and recycling haulers and other fleet operators that have signed new or expanded existing agreements with Clean Energy to provide natural gas transportation fuel and other services for their vehicles and fleets. The report contains information not been previously announced by the company, it said in a news release.
The new agreements include:
Phoenix-based Republic Services Inc. – construction and maintenance services for six new compressed natural gas (CNG) sites and upgrades for six existing CNG stations
Waste Pro USA Inc., of Longwood, Fla. – a CNG station constructed and operated by Clean Energy in Fort Pierce, Fla.;
USA Hauling & Recycling Inc., Enfield, Conn. – a station constructed and operated by Clean Energy in Hartford, Conn
Burgmeier Hauling Inc., Altoona, Pa. – CNG station to be constructed and operated by Clean Energy in Altoona;
Tidewater Fiber Corp., Chesapeake, Va. – station constructed and operated in Chesapeake by Clean Energy
CR&R Inc., Stanton, Calif. – liquid natural gas (LNG) to be supplied to its fleet facility in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.;
the city of Long Beach, Calif. – LNG to be supplied to fuel its municipal waste trucks, street sweepers and other vehicles; and
the city of Scottsdale, Ariz. – upgrade an existing CNG station to service its waste fleet.
