Otto Environmental Systems North America Inc. has purchased its first compressed natural gas (CNG) truck and ordered four more.

The newly purchased truck will be used by Otto Container Management LLC’s operations center for Augusta, Georgia, the Charlotte-based company said in a news release.

The four additional trucks will be used at Otto Container’s operations center in Moreno Valley, Calif.

The trucks will serve operations including container deliver and removal from resident homes and curbside container maintenance.

“The implementation of our first CNG truck is the next step in progressing as a sustainable leader in our industry,” said Kenn Budlong, vice president of service.
