Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Pilots Glass Recycling Initiative

In an effort to reduce the amount of broken bottles found throughout the state, the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (DABC) has launched a new glass recycling initiative.
As part of the initiative, DABC will utilize a new glass collection pod provided by Momentum Recycling in the parking lot of the State Wine Store at 280 West Harris Avenue. The pod will remain in the parking lot for at least a month, and if deemed successful, the DABC plans to expand the program to other liquor stores in the state.
The pods will provide local residents with a free and convenient place to drop off their empty glass bottles.

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control announced a new glass recycling initiative Monday.
At 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6th, Momentum Recycling will install a glass collection pod in the parking lot of the State Wine Store at 280 West Harris Avenue as part of the pilot program.
The pod will remain in the parking lot on a trial basis for at least a month. If the program is successful, the DABC plans to expand the program to other liquor stores.
