Milton, Ga., Hires ECOFLO for Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Terms of the contract are for ECOFLO to conduct household hazardous waste collections between October 1 and September 30, 2020.
Milton, Ga., has approved an agreement with Greensboro, N.C.-based ECOFLO for $24,000 to conduct household hazardous waste collections between October 1 and September 30, 2020.
ECOFLO, which has been in the hazardous waste collection business since 1994, will hold one collection before October 1 this year, with one or more collections through next September. Collections of household paint, chemical and hazardous materials will be open only to Milton residents.

The Milton City Council has approved a $24,000 agreement with ECOFLO Inc. to conduct household paint, chemical and hazardous materials collections in the coming year.
One collection is to be held prior to Oct. 1, and one or more additional collections, between Oct. 1, 2019, and Sept. 30, 2020, according to a professional services agreement approved by the council.The collections would be open to verified Milton residents only, staff said in a report to the council. “The budget should allow us to serve as many as 350 residents,” staff said.
