RIDGEWAY, S.C. – BOMAG Americas, a Fayat Company, announces the promotion of Robert Vistad to sales director, dealer channel for western U.S. and Canada. In his new position, Vistad is tasked with supporting the North American dealer network and BOMAG field sales with market awareness, product knowledge and training to strengthen dealer relationships, so they can provide the best equipment solutions to BOMAG customers.

A BOMAG territory manager over the last year, Vistad brings 14 years of industry sales and dealer management experience to the position. He spent more than seven years working in sales for an international compact equipment manufacturer, ultimately advancing to senior account manager. He was also a sales manager for dealer RDO Equipment Co. in southern California and spent time as a west region business manager for another compact construction equipment manufacturer.

“Robert brings a wealth of sales and management experience to the position, along with a strong work ethic and business acumen,” says Christoph Thiesbrummel, vice president of sales and marketing for BOMAG Americas. “Leveraging his previous dealer experience, he strengthened the dealer network’s performance in his west coast territory. He has incredible vision of where he wants to position BOMAG to help grow our dealer, territory manager and customers’ success.”

Vistad adds, “I’ve met fantastic people throughout my career who have the same values and handshake-is-your-word attitude instilled in me growing up on the farm. My time with RDO Equipment rounded out my understanding of the OEM-dealer relationship and gave me insight into what a dealership needs to be successful. BOMAG is a nimble company that tailors solutions to meet the needs of the customer, dealer and company, so it’s a winning proposition for all. I see incredible opportunity for growth and am excited in the direction BOMAG is heading.”
