EIA to Manage OSHA Training Grant

The Environmental Industry Associations (EIA), Washington, D.C., has been awarded a contract to manage the Environmental Research and Education Foundation's (EREF) fifth Susan Harwood Training Grant from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. EIA will develop a training video to instruct solid waste workers on how to reduce fatalities and serious injuries at landfills and disposal facilities. During WasteExpo 2005, EIA will hold an educational session on reducing fatalities. EIA will show the video during the session and distribute related materials.
