The Athens-Clark County Solid Waste Department in Georgia is getting national attention because of the efforts of three of its workers.

Miah Love, Takisha Mapp and Beverly Gresham appeared on Good Morning America. The show highlighted the three ladies for going over and above during the pandemic.

The trio appeared live on the "Make Your Monday" segment to talk about being single mothers in an industry comprised of only 1% of women. All three ladies spoke about their struggles of being an essential worker and raising children in an online learning environment.
