Louisiana Sanitation Workers Save Girl from Kidnapping

Two sanitation workers on their route in St. Martin Parish in New Iberia, La. recently saved a girl after she had been kidnapped.

Dion Merrick and Brandon Antoine, Pelican Waste employees, noticed a Nissan Altima parked in a field. They recognized it from a recent Louisiana State Police alert, called law enforcement and then proceeded to rescue the girl.

The registered sex offender was arrested and taken into custody.
