Rumpke expands its portable restroom holdings

Rumpke Consolidated Companies announced today that it purchased its Cincinnati neighbor, portable restroom rental service Southern Ohio Sanitation (SOS), on Dec. 29, 2006. The sale involves all SOS company assets, including approximately 600 portable restroom units, four pump trucks, one flat bed truck and two trailers.

In a press release announcing the deal, Rumpke Vice President Jeff Rumpke sought to reassure the 230 regular customers and special events serviced by SOS: “Rumpke is proud to service SOS’s current customers and looks forward to a positive relationship in the future. We anticipate a smooth transition.”
