The Crayon Collection collects crayons left at restaurants and sends them to schools that are in need of art supplies. With this effort, the Crayon Collection is helping to divert millions of pounds of non-decomposable paraffin wax from landfills.

Currently, the organization distributes millions of crayons to more than 1000 title 1 schools and head start centers across the U.S.

The Huffington Post has a video on The Crayon Collection.
