Waste Connections Inc. has picked a site for its new headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, and has moved some of its senior management team to the new location.

The new address for its corporate headquarters, effective immediately, is Waterway Plaza Two, 10001 Woodloch Forest Drive, Suite 400, The Woodlands, Texas, 77380.

"This new location is effective for me, several other members of our senior management team and selected support services functions," said Ron Mittelstaedt, chairman and CEO, in a news release.  "We expect the remainder of our headquarters' relocation to be completed by September 2012."

The move ultimately will affect about 100 employees, the company has said. Waste Connections expects to incur an estimated $15 million of costs during 2012 because of personnel and the expenses of relocating its office from Folsom, Calif.
