Waste Pro Honored with Green Visionary Award

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. —Waste Pro was honored by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) with a Green Visionary Award. The award is presented to businesses and/or organizations implementing sustainable best practices in environmental strategies that are helping reduce waste, carbon, and plastic in Miami-Dade County.

Mike Fernandez, Vice President of Post Collections, proudly accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was founded 29 years ago. It is considered one of the top five Hispanic Chambers of Commerce in the United States, offering its members different activities to network and meet possible business prospects. The SFLHCC has over 1,200 members and advocates for thousands of Hispanic businesses in Florida.

It is comprised of dedicated professional individuals and business owners who have come together to advance the commercial, financial, educational, and civic interests of the ever-growing Hispanic Community of South Florida.
