Waste Worker Crushed to Death in Texas

A 26-year-old worker died after getting caught in a trash compactor in an accident outside San Antonio.

KXAN.com has the details:

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Rosanne Hughes said that the man, who worked for Metro Waste Systems, became trapped in the back of a garbage collection truck Tuesday. According to KXAN’s sister station in San Antonio, WOAI, the driver of the truck immediately called 911 but it was too late.

Hughes identified the victim as 26-year-old Benjamin Garza.
