Missing California Child Found Deceased at San Jose Recycling Facility

The body of a missing girl in San Jose, Cali. has been found at a recycling facility following the death of her father.

Ellie Lorenzo was first reported missing on Friday by her mother, according to Freemont Police. The three-year-old had been with her father who was found dead in San Francisco.

The search for the girl ended when police learned of a deceased child’s body discovered at a San Jose recycling facility where police later confirmed it was Ellie.

“Our department is saddened to learn Ellie has not survived. Our hearts are heavy for Ellie’s family, and we will continue to support them during this difficult time,” said Police Chief Sean Washington in a statement.
