Santek Waste Services Inc. has acquired White Sanitation for an undisclosed amount.

Cleveland, Tenn.-based Santek said in a new release that its purchase of White, based in Trion, Ga., includes all itsresidential, commercial and industrial waste collection customers. It also includes a transfer station north of Summerville, Ga.

White Sanitation will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Santek, and all its employees will be integrated into the company.

The purchase complements Santek’s acquisition of Davis Sanitation in Ringgold, Ga., earlier this year, said President Edward Caylor.

“The addition of White Sanitation and the transfer station gives us the ability to internalize new waste volumes at our Gordon County landfill, and solidifies our presence in the northwest Georgia market,” Caylor said. “It’s also a strategic fit for our north Georgia waste collection operation.”
