SCS Engineers Acquires BT Squared

SCS Engineers has acquired Madison, Wis.-based BT Squared Inc., a civil and environmental engineering firm that provides environmental remediation, solid waste, regulatory compliance and energy management services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

BT Squared — which has additional offices in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; Menomonee Falls, Wis.; and Northfield, Ill. — will now operate as SCS BT Squared.

“This dynamic, multifaceted civil and environmental engineering firm is a welcome addition to our SCS Engineers family,” said Jim Walsh, president and CEO of Long Beach, Calif.-based SCS, in a press release. “Joining our companies together will enable us to better serve our clients, and strengthen both companies by adding to our core practice areas.”

“BT Squared is very excited about joining the SCS team,” added Mark Huber, CEO of BT Squared, in the press release. “We believe the combination of our companies will result in better service to our customers.”
