Stella Environmental Services LLC has purchased special waste hauler Brewer Trucking LLC, which does business as Enviro Trans, for an undisclosed amount.

Houston-based Stella, which manages the logistics and operation of municipal solid waste (MSW) transfer stations, acquired Phoenix-based Brewer for an undisclosed amount. Stella said in a news release the purchase provides the company with access to a new, key market and will help it build the business significantly during the next several years. It is Stella’s second strategic acquisition.

“The acquisition of this operation is important to our company’s growth plans,” said Wilf Roth, Stella president.

Brian Veach, president of Brewer, joins Stella’s senior management team as vice president of operations in the Western Region. “His experience in the special waste hauling industry and managing of MSW transfer stations will enable us to have a significant impact in the Southwest U.S. market,” Roth said.
