In a statement released Friday, Waste Pro announced that it has acquired Waste Services assets in Lee County and Fort Myers, Fla., effective immediately. Waste Services’ assets in Fort Myers will be merged into Waste Pro’s existing Fort Myers operation and facilities. These assets include trucks, containers, equipment and long-term exclusive contracts with Lee County and the City of Fort Myers for commercial and residential collection services for over 38,000 residences and 1,200 commercial accounts.
