Wastebuilt Environmental Solutions LLC has bought fellow waste and recycling equipment distributor Consolidated Disposal Systems Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Chicago-based Wastebuilt said in a news release that the Smyma, Ga.-based Consolidated provides the waste industry in Georgia with products, service and parts. It also provides street sweepers.

Wastebuilt began operations in 2012 and purchased two waste and recycling equipment companies, Summit, Ill.-based Stepp Equipment Co. and Winamac, Ind.-based Galfab Inc.

“Consolidated fits the model we are building and complements our existing operations,” said Greg Podell, Wastebuilt CEO. “The quality and management experience Consolidated brings to this industry is substantial.”
