California’s Senate Bill 1383 requires jurisdictions across the state to minimize organic waste contamination by conducting route reviews (lid flips) or waste evaluation studies (sorts). The Go2Zero team has adopted a variety of strategies and best practices to meet these requirements, including the development of the SMART 1383 compliance tracking software.
