Athens Plastic Recycling Plant Fire is Difficult to Extinguish

North of Athens there was fire at a plastics recycling plant, which sent large cloud of toxic thick smoke in the air. More than 49 firefights and two helicopters fought the blaze, but it was difficult to extinguish. The fire led to the closure of the national highway.
