U.S. industries consumed 2.6 million tons of recovered paper in June, according to the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). That figure was the same in May but does represent a 6 percent increase from June 2009, the AF&PA says.

The consumption of recovered paper increased 8.2 percent during the first six months of 2010 when compared with the same period in 2009.

The complete report is available at AF&PA’s website.
