Use of Recovered Paper Increases in May

U.S. industries consumed 2.6 million tons of recovered paper in May, according to the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). That figure represents a 1.3 percent increase from April and a 7.1 percent increase from May 2009, the AF&PA says.

The consumption of recovered paper increased 8.5 percent during the first five months of 2010 when compared with the same period in 2009.
