Veolia ES Recognized for Safety in Pa.

Chicago-based Veolia ES Waste-to-Energy has received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for its safety practices and records at its waste-to-energy facilities.

“Safety is a priority for our company and for each of our outstanding employees,” said Steve Passage, CEO and president of Veolia ES Waste-to-Energy, in a press release. “We work tirelessly to train and inform our employees on safety regulations and procedures.”

Veolia’s facility, Montenay Energy Resources in Conshohocken, Pa., has had a zero injury incident rate two of the past three years and has not had a lost-time injury in more than five years.
