Waste Connections Reports Third Quarter Earnings

Waste Connections, Folsom, Calif., reported third quarter revenues of $250.8 million, an increase from $216.5 million in third-quarter 2006. The net income for the quarter was $28.7 million, an increase from $21.9 million for the same quarter last year.

For the year, the company’s revenues stand at $710.8 million compared to $613.7 million in the first nine months of 2006. The net income for the year to date increased to $76.3 million from $56.8 million during the same period last year.
