Waste Industries USA Inc., Raleigh, N.C., has delayed the release of its fiscal-year second quarter results until Monday, August 8. A conference call and Webcast to discuss the results will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 2 p.m. EST.

The delay in reporting results from the need of independent valuation specialists hired by Waste Industries to determine the impact of recent acquisitions and sales, the company says.
