Waste Away Systems’ New Transfer Station to Open This Month
The transfer station will accept materials like construction debris, general refuse and garbage, appliances, furniture and bedding.

Starting November 21, 2016, residents of Heath, Ohio, will be able to unload their trash and recyclables at Waste Away Systems’ new $1.4 million transfer station. Waste Away hopes to divert approximately 25 percent of the nonhazardous, solid waste materials received to primary or secondary recycling locations and send 75 percent of the materials to landfill.
Starting off, Waste Away will accept materials like construction debris, general refuse and garbage, appliances, furniture and bedding.

The president and CEO of Waste Away Systems unveiled his company's new transfer station at 995 Keller Drive in Heath, where residents can unload trash and recycling materials, beginning Nov. 21.
About 70 guests, including Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Assistant Director Laura Factor, attended Monday's grand opening of the $1.4 million facility.
