Apple has revealed that its 14 final assembly plants in China have achieved zero waste. In addition to that announcement, Apple has also stated that its China glass supplier, Lens Technology, has committed to run Apple’s operations on 100 percent renewable energy by 2018.

Apple has announced that all 14 of its final assembly plants in China are now zero-waste compliant, meaning that none of the waste is sent to landfill. Waste products are instead recycled, re-used, composted or burned to generate energy.
