GlyEco Inc. has increased its waste glycol recycling capacity 400 percent at a new facility in Minnesota.

The Phoenix-based GlyEco has relocated to a 10,000 sq.-ft. stand-alone building from a 2,000 sq.-ft. facility. The new operation provides improved logistics for large-volume operations, the company said in a news release.

GlyEco also made several technology and equipment upgrades, including new main circulation equipment, an advanced pumping system and a secondary containment system.

In addition, the new facility is located to serve some provinces in the Canadian market, where waste glycol disposal is strictly regulated.

“We intend to ramp sales by expanding our services into the heat transfer fluids and aircraft deicing waste markets,” said John Lorenz, CEO of GlyEco. “We also intend to service a larger geographic territory at this facility."
