Pull-A-Part Opens Auto Parts Recycling Facility in Pittsburgh Area

Pull-A-Part LLC is opening a consumer recycling facility in the Pittsburgh area.

The Atlanta-based Pull-A-Part, which specializes in do-it-yourself used auto parts recycling, said it’s opening its first Pennsylvania facility in West Mifflin. The company acquired a 72-acre site at the location, according to a news release.

Pull-A-Part will build a retail facility and service areas at the West Mifflin location, which should open in early 2015. It will have about 2,000 end-of-life vehicles available to Pittsburgh-area consumers who want to remove and buy auto parts at a savings.

The facility, which represents Pull-A-Part’s expansion into the northeast United States, will employ about 20-25. It will be the firm’s 29^th do-it-yourself used auto parts superstore in 13 states.

“By expanding into western Pennsylvania, Pull-A-Part will be able to help more customers save money on used auto parts and be able to recycle more vehicles in an environmentally responsible way,” said Ross Kogon, president and CEO of Pull-A-Part.
