Republic Services Reveals New Customer Resource Center in Arizona
The center is the third of three centers, all of which are designed to enhance Republic’s customer service for more than 14 million global customers.
Earlier this year, Republic Services reorganized its structure to streamline operations. And now, the company has revealed its new 72,000-square-foot Customer Resource Center in Chandler, Ariz. The center is the third of three centers, all of which are designed to enhance Republic’s customer service for more than 14 million global customers.
“These facilities are about providing a great experience for our customers,” said Joe Burkel, senior vice president for customer experience at Republic Services, in a press release. “This facility will allow our customers to communicate with us how and when they prefer, creating a truly differentiated customer experience. We are excited about the communication options it offers our customers, as well as enabling better experience across the board. We are very pleased to join the community by bringing this facility to Chandler.”
This new center goes hand-in-hand with Republic’s latest investment in the Arizona economy. According to a recent study conducted by Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business, through the L. William Seidman Research Institute, Republic has a $497 million impact annually on the state’s economy. This is due to Republic employing more than 1,500 people at 22 locations, creating 2.9 jobs for every Republic employee in Arizona and generating $53 million in tax revenues per year.
“Chandler is pleased to welcome another Fortune 500 Company–Republic Services–to our city,” said Mayor Jay Tibshraeny in a press release. “We thank the company for their confidence in bringing these jobs to Chandler as we believe it underscores our standing in the marketplace, particularly our stability, quality workforce and the market-driven developments in our community. We also want to thank Kieckhefer Properties for their investment and work in securing Republic Services.”
