Residents Concerned Over Proposed Virginia Recycling Plant

A proposed recycling facility is causing controversy in the Crestwood area, after residents say they were left in the dark about the project.

The pitch is to build two structures along Bainbridge Boulevard, just south of the High Rise Bridge, but some neighbors say they are not in favor of the project moving forward.

The 66-acre plot of land is managed by Douglas Fuller, of Precon Marine, Inc., who said the $100-million recycling operation would bring roughly 125 jobs to the city.
