S.C. DHEC Identifies Landfills Lacking Cleanup, Maintenance Funds

Five South Carolina landfills owners do not have money on hand to cleanup and maintain their solid waste facilities, according to the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
DHEC identified the landfills as Appletons Landfills in Allendale County; Bennetts Landfill Inc. in Chester County; Cliffsdale Road in Spartanburg County; Goff Landfill in Saluda County and HR Garrett Landfill in Laurens Co.
