Some Texas lawmakers are hoping a new bill will get more people to go green and increase the state's recycling rates.

House Bill 2425 and Senate Bill 1450 are making the rounds this legislative session. If passed, they would establish a recycling incentive program.

Lawmakers are hoping the bill will help increase the state's recycling rates by allowing you to get money for recycling all your cans, plastic and glass bottles.
