Waste Management Opens Recycling Facility in North Carolina

Waste Management Inc. has opened a single-stream recycling facility in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Houston-based Waste Management said in a news release the 85,000-sq.-ft. material recovery facility (MRF) uses advanced recycling technology to provide better separation of materials, increase capacity and improve local recycling participation.

Waste Management currently operates 36 single-stream recycling facilities in North America.
