JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Waste Pro’s David Searcy is transitioning to a new role within the company as Municipal Manager for the Northeast Florida region.

David joined Waste Pro in 2016 as Division Manager of the Jacksonville facility. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the waste industry, beginning his career on the back of a truck and working his way up through the business across national haulers serving in roles such as Supervisor, Operations Manager, Sales Representative, and General Manager.

In his new role, David will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with communities and municipalities, searching for new areas in which to expand, interacting with customers, coordinating/attending special events, and more.

“David is Jacksonville born and raised, so he knows this community extremely well,” said Northeast Florida Regional Vice President Brian Wintjen. “He knows what the residents in this area need and deserve when it comes to their garbage service, and I can’t think of anyone better to take on that responsibility.”
