Waste Connections Posts 2Q Financial Results

Waste Connections Inc., Folsom, Calif., reported a net income of $21.4 million on $180.3 million in revenue during second-quarter 2005. The company posted a net income of $19.1 million on $156.1 million during the same period in 2004.
For the first six months of 2005, Waste Connections reported a net income of $40.8 million on $344.7 million in revenue. During the first half of last year, the firm posted a net income of $35.4 million on $300.9 million in revenue.
