Researchers at North Carolina’s A&T University have teamed up with a local artist to create viable products from recycled coal ash—think things like building materials or soundproff barriers.
Researchers state coal ash is reported to be safe, fire resistant and strong. And the research community at the university is working with others in the community to make people more aware of the benefits of recycling and reusing coal ash.
