American Disposal Services has formed Green Stream to improve waste removal and cleaning in commercial operations.

The Manassas, Va.-based American Disposal Services said in a news release it is partnering with Chantilly, Va.-based CleanOffice Inc. to provide green cleaning along with its waste disposal and recycling services. The partnership aims to create more sustainable office buildings by simplifying the integration of recycling plans.

The GreenStream program also provides cost savings for property management, tenants and local businesses, and enhances the opportunity to achieve Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) status.

“By integrating these businesses we ensure that both companies work together as a cohesive whole,” said Mark O’Brien, CleanOffice CEO. “In launching this program we hope to better aid in increasing recycling participation within a building.“
