Chicago — Dell Inc., Round Rock, Texas, announced Wednesday that it will recycle more than 18,000 pieces of old computer equipment this year for Chicago Public Schools. The company will gather, package and transport the equipment from the school district’s 600 buildings. The aim of the project is to free up classroom space for use by the students rather than to use it for storing old computers.
