After months of conversations finally leading to an agreement, the Elora Waste Facility in Canada will see about $2.8 million in improvements.

Last week, the county council approved the improvements, following a previous canceling of the facility’s improvements when bids for the transfer station ranged from $3.4 million to $4.2 million. Verly Construction Group Inc. was awarded the contract for $2,890,507, with the total project looking to cost $3.97 million.
