The Green Bay Packers have announced the team has entered into a partnership with Batteries Plus to launch a new recycling program to educate and raise awareness about battery recycling.

The initiative will encourage fans to bring used batteries to their local Batteries Plus location to utilize free recycling drop-offs, which will be available soon. Those recycling in Wisconsin will be eligible to win experiences, prizes, and other incentives such as the chance to present the game ball before a Green Bay Packers home game.

"The Green Bay Packers are proud to be a part of this vital initiative," said Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs. "As a team deeply rooted in the community, we recognize the importance of sustainability and are committed to promoting responsible recycling practices among our fans."
