Lee County, Fla. is looking to expand its recycling ability by adding a new recycling facility to handle household and business recyclables.
According to Christine Brady, Lee Solid Waste Assistant County Manager, the proposed recycling facility will help with residential growth in the area. Currently, the demand for recycling is outgrowing the current facility in Buckingham, Fla.
The new facility will be an indoor facility that will handle Lee County’s household and business recycling materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic containers, bottles, and tin cans.
