Richart Sowa, a carpenter, artist and singer songwriter, has spent the last seven years constructing Joyxee Island - an 8,000-sq.-ft. island near Cancun, Mexico made from plastic bottles.

Gazette Live has the story:

They include a three-storey house, electricity, a kitchen, bathroom, a dry compost ecological toilet, two bedrooms, a jacuzzi, internet, a rooftop sundeck and an eight person ferry made from plastic bottles.
